Apex Resources are recruiting a Powder Coaters & Paint Preppers to join a busy manufacturing company in the Crayford area.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of parts for powder coating and wet spray
- Surface prep and masking of unpainted areas
- Hanging parts efficiently, setting up spray guns and applying powder coat evenly using electrostatic equipment
- Managing colour changes during the process
- Loading coated items into ovens and baking at specified temperatures and times
- Inspecting finished products for consistent thickness, coverage and defects; performing first-piece and in-process checks
- Setting up, cleaning and performing basic maintenance on spray guns, booths, filters and ovens
- Following the companies powder coating preparation process
- Maintaining a clean, tidy work area
- Good timekeeping and reliability
