We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work based in Sittingbourne. Working for a busy industrial transport operation, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of a variety of steel products to commercial and construction customers throughout Kent, London and the South East.
Duties Include:
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections of steel and metal products.
- Transporting loads safely and securely in accordance with transport regulations.
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects.
- Maintaining delivery paperwork and records.
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers.
- Complying with all health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience.
- Valid CPC Qualification Card.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
- A professional and safety-conscious attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
