Apex is working with a boutique digital defence consultancy based in London who are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of user-focused, high-impact products for secure government clients. This is a unique opportunity to shape complex, nationally important services, challenge existing thinking, and work with multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver meaningful outcomes that improve people’s lives.

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Product Manager passionate about delivering user-centred solutions in complex environments. You’ll own the product vision, lead multidisciplinary Agile teams, and guide products through the full lifecycle, using data and user insight to drive decisions.

What’s on Offer: Up to £85k depending on experience

Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager:

  • Own and drive product direction, working closely with cross-functional teams to turn user needs into clear, actionable outcomes
  • Shape and evolve product roadmaps, define MVPs, and confidently prioritise in fast-moving or ambiguous environments
  • Bring strong experience working within Agile or Kanban frameworks
  • Lead products end-to-end, from early discovery through to live service, selecting the right approaches at each stage
  • Champion user-centric design, using insight to prioritise what matters most and guide teams to do the same
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, influencing decisions and ensuring alignment on goals and outcomes
  • Use data, research, and performance insights to inform decisions and clearly communicate rationale

Qualifications of the Senior Product Manager:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager delivering complex digital products
  • Expertise in product ownership, including shaping backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience working on secure or government-related projects – (National Security projects/clients)
  • Active DV Clearance (essential)
