Apex Resources Limited are seeking an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer with strong SolidWorks expertise to join our client in East Kilbride. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working from design through to production, programming components to a high standard in a precision-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks
- Generate CAM programs for CNC machining operations
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting strategies, and machining methods
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability
- Optimise programs to improve cycle times and reduce waste
- Support first-off inspections and resolve machining issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards
