Location: Woking
Contract: Inside IR35 β 3-month contract (potential for extension)
Hours: 7:30am β 4:00pm Monday-Friday
We are looking for highly motivated Paint Sprayer to join our expanding production team to produce the new range of high-performance vehicles. Working on very low volume, specialist and one-off vehicles you will be responsible to ensure that these vehicles are painted to the highest of industry standards and quality. The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, possibly including shifts and weekend work.
Principal Accountabilities of the Paint Sprayer:
- Understand and follow detailed work instructions relating to the painting of vehicles.
- Ensure that all station operations on each vehicle are completed to the required quality standard.
- Ensure that all operations are completed to the required timescale.
- Work as part of a team on the definition and solution of problems that may be affecting the quality, cost or productivity of the vehicles being produced.
- Ensure the work area is clean, tidy and orderly at all times in line with brand expectations.
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and other team members, participating in safety activities as requested.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience of the Paint Sprayer:
- Previous Automotive Paint Spraying experience is highly desirable.
- No formal qualifications are necessary; however, a foundation in engineering and/or experience within automotive or manufacturing would be a distinct advantage.
- Any experience of Composite lay-up & reparation, diagnostics, mechanical vehicle repair, bare metal repair, would be beneficial.
- Quality focused with meticulous attention to detail.
