Vehicle Dynamics Integration Engineer Location: Gaydon – Onsite Contract Type: Ongoing, Inside IR35 Rate: £20.35 per hour PAYE / £27.21 per hour Umbrella Vehicle Dynamics Integration Engineer Role Overview: We are looking for a Vehicle Dynamics Integration Engineer to join the vehicle dynamics team at a major global automotive company based in Gaydon, UK. The team handle delivery of the ride, steering and handling of future world class vehicles. The role is focused on supporting the tuning and integration of all aspects of dynamics attribute delivery from concept to production. You will gain experience across multiple vehicle dynamics disciplines while supporting the Senior engineer in delivery, as well as be expected to manage and deliver technical projects. The Vehicle Dynamics Integration Engineer will play a vital part in: Supporting the definition of all vehicle dynamics attribute targets. Facilitating testing, tuning and parts integration plans. Ensuring Vehicle Dynamics requirements are cascaded and transacted in system and component teams. Demonstrating vehicle performance status vs target to stakeholders and customers. Skills Required: Significant understanding of vehicle dynamics fundamentals. Strong organisation and project management skills. Detail focused. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Awareness of relevant vehicle dynamics development methods including subjective/objective evaluation. A passion for the automotive industry and keen interest in cars. An aptitude for driving Highly motivated & goal driven. Resilient an enthusiastic, an individual able to deliver results under pressure, while responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs. Desirable Skills: Some experience tuning road vehicles, subjective evaluation and demonstrable proving ground experience (or experience of track driving in personal life). Previous experience leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project team environment. Understanding of relevant CAE methods and system/component level testing.
