Role Summary

This Supplier Quality Engineer role is responsible for developing and maintaining quality conformance and continuous improvement across the full supply chain, from suppliers through to customer delivery. The position supports internal and external quality processes, works closely with value stream leadership, and acts as a key interface between suppliers, customers, internal teams, and operational stakeholders. The successful Supplier Quality Engineer will be expected to interpret customer requirements, support zero defect objectives, and drive supplier quality performance in a complex aerospace environment.

Role

  • Provide quality support across the supply chain and internal value streams.
  • Lead supplier performance improvement activities and support supplier management processes.
  • Roll out and support Zero Defect initiatives with key suppliers to reduce DPPM.
  • Execute supplier audits in line with supplier performance assessment plans.
  • Ensure effective containment actions are implemented and drive root cause and corrective actions using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D.
  • Review First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 requirements.
