About the Role
Apex Recruitment is supporting the recruitment of a Repair Technician Sealant Systems (Mechanical Bias) to join a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Solihull. This position is initially offered on a rolling contract basis, with a strong opportunity for permanent conversion following a successful review period.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance and fault-finding activities on sealant application systems to ensure optimum production performance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on sealant application equipment and associated systems.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
- Perform mechanical inspections and component replacements as required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality procedures.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong mechanical or technician background.
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing or production environments.
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
