This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Power Press Setter/Operator to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
The Role As a Power Press Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting, adjusting and operating a range of mechanical and hydraulic presses within a busy production environment.
You will ensure products meet the required quality standards whilst maintaining safe working practices at all times.
Key Responsibilities Operate a variety of mechanical and hydraulic presses.
Set and adjust press machinery to meet production requirements.
Inspect, audit and sign off your own work against quality standards.
Troubleshoot tooling issues and support continuous improvement activities.
Maintain safe working practices within the press shop.
Assist with the development and improvement of new tooling.
