We are currently recruiting for a Power Press Setter/Operator to join a well-established engineering manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Power Press Setter/Operator to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
The Role
As a Power Press Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting, adjusting and operating a range of mechanical and hydraulic presses within a busy production environment. You will ensure products meet the required quality standards whilst maintaining safe working practices at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of mechanical and hydraulic presses.
- Set and adjust press machinery to meet production requirements.
- Inspect, audit and sign off your own work against quality standards.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and support continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain safe working practices within the press shop.
- Assist with the development and improvement of new tooling.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience working as a Power Press Setter/Operator.
- Valid Power Press Certificate would be beneficial.
