Our client is a bespoke engineering company. From design and build to repair and refurbishment, they serve clients across multiple industries with tailored mechanical solutions. Due to continued growth, they re now looking to add a Mechanical Fitter to their talented team in Warwick.

This is a varied and dynamic role, giving you a balance of workshop-based work and site visits. You ll be:

  • Assembling and commissioning new machinery
  • Building, testing, and installing new systems
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs or part replacements
  • Assisting with the wiring of basic electrical control panels and testing systems
  • Helping customers get the most out of their equipment through training and handovers
  • Supporting design meetings with your practical, hands-on expertise
  • Contributing to a close-knit, positive, and collaborative team
  • Occasional travel to customer sites in a company vehicle for servicing and support

The ideal Mechanical Fitter will have:

  • Mechanical fitting experience using a variety of hand tools
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatics and electrical wiring
  • Fault-finding know-how and a problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication skills you re just as confident with colleagues as you are with clients
  • The ability to work independently on-site and as part of a collaborative team
