Account Manager who can become a trusted partner to their customers while helping to drive long-term commercial success.

What You'll Be Doing

As the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers, you'll build lasting partnerships, coordinate projects internally and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.

  • Your responsibilities as the Manufacturing Account Manager will include:
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, projects and technical requirements.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of each customer's business and future requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Preparing quotations, pricing proposals and responses to RFQs.
  • Working closely with Sales, Operations, Quality and Production teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Managing customer issues through to resolution, ensuring a positive experience throughout.
  • Using commercial data and customer insight to develop competitive proposals.
  • Maintaining accurate account records and customer information.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the company's specialist coating technologies.
  • Visiting customer sites and attending industry events when required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, building long-term partnerships and finding solutions that create value.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous experience in Account Management, Sales, Customer Service or Client Relationship Management positions
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities.
  • A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent influence and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical industries would be advantageous.

Hours

Full-time onsite in Oldbury with a flexible attitude towards working hours.

Monday Thursday: 08.00-17.00 & Friday: 08.00-13:30
