Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Recruiter to join a growing automotive business, taking ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle across a wide range of vacancies.

The successful Internal Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to attract, engage and secure high-calibre talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of business functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Create and advertise engaging job opportunities across multiple recruitment platforms.
  • Source candidates using job boards, Linked In, networking and employee referrals.
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and ensure recruitment records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct reference and background checks where required.
  • Prepare and negotiate employment offers alongside HR and hiring managers.
  • Monitor recruitment performance metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire and quality of hire.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation and recruitment best practice.

Requirements Of The Role

  • Proven experience within internal recruitment, talent acquisition or recruitment agency environments.
  • Experience working in the Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering industries would be beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple departments and seniority levels.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice and UK employment legislation.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruitment platforms including Linked In Recruiter.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Data-driven approach to recruitment reporting and performance metrics.
