About the Role:

As a Classic Coach Builder, you will be responsible for the hands-on mechanical assembly and coach building of classic models and heritage cars. This isn’t your average technician role – you’ll be working on builds that follow specialised documentation, requiring a true craftsperson’s touch and deep understanding of how to adjust, modify, and shape components when things don’t fit quite right – without compromising the vehicle's integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full vehicle build using traditional coachbuilding techniques
  • Interpret complex build documentation unique to heritage models
  • Use hand tools, air tools, and grinders confidently and safely
  • Adjust and modify parts using initiative and expert judgment
  • Ensure high-quality, safety-critical standards are met throughout
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on low-volume builds
  • Contribute to continuous quality checks and improvements during assembly
