Service Engineer – Electrical bias
Are you an experienced Service Engineer ready for your next challenge? A specialist engineering business, based on the outskirts of Warwick, is seeking a Service Engineer to take on a diverse role combining field service, machinery assembly, and hands-on problem-solving.
What the Service Engineer role involves:
- Carrying out service visits to customer sites across the UK
- Commissioning new products and performing installations and repairs
- Delivering training and handovers to customers
- Building, wiring, and testing electro-mechanical machinery in-house
- Designing electrical panels and integrating machine hardware
- Producing documentation, from electrical drawings to safety evaluations
- Supporting with component repair and internal technical meetings
What the ideal Service Engineer would have:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrotechnical Services – or equivalent
- 18th Edition Certification (BS 7671:2018)
- Understanding of Machinery Regulations & BS standards
- Hands-on mechanical skills
- Strong understanding of drives, control systems, and industrial equipment
- Preferably experience with PLC programming
