Our client is a global manufacturing company, specialising in providing engineering solutions to an extensive list of high-profile automotive companies. As their production team continues to expand, our client is currently seeking several self-motivated, conscientious, and hardworking Production Operatives to join their facility in Leamington Spa.

The Production Operative Role: You will be responsible for the fitting, assembly, and testing of components, and picking and packing. You will be able to work both on an autonomous basis and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Operative:

  • Working to production requirements produced by the Supervisor or Manager
  • Checking components for defects such as damage, flattening, etc. and recording as appropriate
  • Completing any paperwork as required
  • Setting up and operating crimp machines, etchers, and testers
  • Working to the requirements and dimensions shown on the engineering drawings
  • Picking and packing of goods
  • Ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to in the assembly and test area

The ideal Production Operative:

  • Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes and skills
  • The ability to do regular manual handling
  • The ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail

Working Hours and Pay Rate: This is a full-time opportunity, 37.5 hrs working Monday – Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern.

  • Week 1: 6:00 am-2:00 pm £13.20 p/h
  • Week 2: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm £15.84 p/h

Hours 06.00-14.00 Monday -Thursday and 06.00 -12.10 on Friday 14.00 – 22.00 Monday to Thursday 12.10 to 18.20 on Friday.
