Maintenance Engineer β Electrical Permanent basis Pay Rate: Β£21.60 per hour + Shift Allowance An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer β Electrical to join a manufacturing environment, supporting the efficient operation of production machinery, electrical systems, and automated equipment. Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer β Electrical Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM activities and accurately maintain maintenance records. Fault-find and repair motors, drives, sensors, control circuits, and PLC-controlled equipment. Test, commission, and return equipment safely to production following maintenance activities. Support maintenance and fault-finding activities on robotic and automated production equipment. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety requirements. Work closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime. The Ideal Maintenance Engineer β Electrical : Must hold a recognised electrical qualification such as Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent. Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Experience working with motors, sensors, inverters, and industrial electrical systems. Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery and automated production equipment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
