The Vehicle Dynamics Integration Engineer will support the delivery of ride, steering and handling attributes for future world-class vehicles, working across the full vehicle development lifecycle. As a Vehicle Dynamics Integration Engineer, you will contribute to the integration and tuning of vehicle dynamics systems from early concept through to production, supporting senior engineers while also taking ownership of defined technical activities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the definition and development of vehicle dynamics attribute targets
  • Facilitate testing, tuning and parts integration plans across programmes
  • Ensure vehicle dynamics requirements are cascaded and delivered through system and component teams
  • Support the demonstration of vehicle performance status versus targets to internal stakeholders
  • Assist the Senior Engineer with the delivery of vehicle dynamics integration activities, taking increasing technical responsibility as a Vehicle Dynamics Integration Engineer

Requirements of the Role

  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics fundamentals relevant to ride, steering and handling
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for cross-functional working
  • Aware of vehicle dynamics development methods, including subjective and objective evaluation techniques
  • Degree-level qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, Aeronautical or a related Engineering discipline
