A Gear Cutter CNC Machinist is wanted to join a Gear Cutting team within a renowned engineering consultancy based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. As the Gear Cutter CNC Machinist, you will join the Gear Cutting department focusing on delivering small-batch, high-quality transmission components for motorsport and aerospace industries. Operating both Shaping and Hobbing CNC machines, you will work on cutting and shaping key components such as spur gears, helical gears, and splines ensuring accuracy, quality, and a right first-time philosophy!
We’re keen to speak to Gear Cutter CNC Machinists who are experienced in:
- Interpreting technical drawings and planning route cards to produce components within routed timeframes
- Operating gear manufacturing CNC machines, ideally:
- Gleason GP300 ES Shaping Machine
- Gleason-Pfauter 200 Hobbing Machine
- Liebherr LC20 Hobbing Machine
- Spur gears
- Helical gears
- Splines
Flexible Hours: Benefit from working a Day Shift on a hours per week contract with start and finish time flexibility, providing the core hours of are completed.
