Temporary ongoing assignment
Leamington Spa
- Days – £14.43 per hour
- Early and Late shifts – £15.89 per hour
Shifts: 39 hrs per week + overtime.
- Days: 07.00-16.00 Mon-Thurs and 07.00-12.00 on Friday (30-minute break)
- Shifts: 20 minutes break, rotating fortnightly
- 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday
- 14.00-22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday
- Lates: 14.00-22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday (39hrs) (20 minutes lunch break)
About the Company
Our client is a leading international manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. Due to ongoing demand, they are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join their growing production team on a long-term temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience as a Brake Press Operator, CNC Operator, Machine Operator, Press Brake Setter, or Laser Operator looking for stable work with competitive pay and overtime opportunities.
The Role:
As a , you will play a key part in the production process, operating and maintaining Brake Press and Laser machinery to deliver high-quality components. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring Brake Press and 5-Axis Laser machines
- Performing Brake Folding to precise specifications
- Manufacturing components to a consistently high standard
- Reading and working accurately from engineering drawings
- Using precision measuring equipment (Verniers, Callipers, Micrometres) to ensure accuracy
- Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery, as well as monitoring material stock levels
- Working with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium
- Finishing, removing, and cleaning parts ready for production
- Conducting your own quality control checks and completing relevant documentation
- Meeting tight deadlines and production targets while maintaining quality standards
