With big growth plans ahead, they’re seeking a forward-thinking Production Operations Director to take the wheel and steer the production facility to allow increased output for the business!
Your role as the Production Operations Director:
- From their new Production facility in Banbury, you’ll shape and lead the production strategy.
- Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll inspire teams, streamline processes, optimise procedures, and deliver increased volumes whilst efficiently monitoring cost.
- Lead the production team – Production; Compliance; Material Requisition.
- Manage & recruit the appropriate team – evaluating all members of the team and implement the appropriate regular review processes support our team with the right training and development opportunities.
- Review all production processes to ensure quality & efficiency standards are met.
- Work with the compliance management to ensure the business is achieving all compliance standards and ensure this is embedded into the business as best practice.
- Maintain ISO9001 and work towards VW/Ford Type Approval.
- Review current production process, assess waste and reconcile all material usage.
- Ensure factory cleanliness is of the highest standard.
- Work with the Development team to implement new models.
- Review and look to improve the PDI process.
- Look at total cost cycle including BOM’s and warranty/aftersales costs.
- Work with the development team to sign off new conversions & review the production flow requirements.
- Re-engineering of conversions – cost out and efficiency programs to be managed and documented.
- Ensure all materials are available to achieve production schedule.
- Keep to agreed stocking levels to maintain healthy working capital.
- Regular production forecasts and improvement planning to align to strategic goals for the business.
