An excellent opportunity is available for a Maintenance Technician to join a leading engineering and manufacturing environment supporting the production of high-quality industrial equipment. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in maintaining manufacturing assets, improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement activities across the facility.
The facility is a precision machining and assembly site, you will be working with CNC machines, PLCs, and a combination of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components.
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and maintenance techniques
- Support equipment reliability improvements through planned maintenance activities
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities to a high standard
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce waste
- Contribute to improving maintenance systems, procedures, and work standards
The Maintenance Technician will support ongoing production performance through effective maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working on CNC machinery, with PLCs or with hydraulics would be advantageous
- Good working knowledge of maintenance techniques and equipment reliability
- The successful Maintenance Technician will demonstrate strong technical and organisational skills
- The Maintenance Technician should be capable of working independently and collaboratively
