Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact across a specialist automotive supply chain?
We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join a high-quality automotive manufacturing environment, taking ownership of supplier performance, quality concerns, supplier development and continuous improvement across both current production and new programmes.
This is a hands-on, supplier-facing position offering exposure to a varied UK and international supply base.

What will you be doing?
- Managing supplier quality concerns and driving issues through to resolution.
- Conducting supplier audits, inspections and site assessments.
- Investigating supplier-related production issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Developing supplier action and improvement plans.
- Supporting PPAP and APQP activities.
- Supporting new supplier and component introduction.
- Reviewing supplier manufacturing processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement and Material Control.
- Producing supplier quality reports, CCARs and visit documentation.
- Applying quality tools including 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC and Value Stream Mapping.
- Tracking supplier actions through to successful completion.
What are we looking for?
We’re keen to speak with Supplier Quality Engineers who have:
- Previous automotive manufacturing experience, ideally within an OEM or Tier 1 environment.
- Strong supplier quality, supplier development and problem-solving experience.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, 8D, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and manufacturing process reviews.
- Strong continuous improvement and root cause analysis skills.
- Confidence working directly with suppliers and cross-functional internal teams.
- Experience with carbon fibre or composite manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
