As a Technical Buyer, you will take ownership of a defined spend portfolio, driving strategic procurement activities and ensuring seamless material flow across a highly collaborative, cross-functional setting. The Technical Buyer plays a pivotal role in influencing supplier strategy, cost optimisation, and programme success, while working within a supportive and growth-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Buyer:
- Lead sourcing activities, commercial risk management, and supplier negotiations for global production commodities
- Manage supplier relationships to maximise performance across cost, quality, and delivery
- Support vehicle development through effective procurement planning and execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver procurement input into programme and project milestones
