Hours: Monday to Friday – no weekends
The Automotive Fitter will be responsible for the assembly and sub‑assembly of bespoke vehicle interiors, ensuring all components are fitted to a high standard. Working across multiple build stages, the Fitter will focus on precision assembly, quality finishes, and supporting the overall build process.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble and install interior units, fixtures, and fittings to specification
- Carry out sub‑assembly of components before final vehicle installation
- Work from build instructions and technical drawings to complete assemblies accurately
- Inspect assembled components and interiors to ensure quality and fitment standards
- Carry out adjustments, refinements, and finishing tasks as required
- Support the build process across multiple stages of vehicle production
- Conduct detailed checks of completed assemblies before final installation
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment and ensure tools are kept in good condition
Requirements
- Proven experience in assembly or sub‑assembly within an automotive or manufacturing environment
- Strong hands‑on skills with ability to work with a variety of materials and components
