How to prepare for a job interview at Apex Recruitment Services

Know Your Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of aircraft braking systems and hydraulic valves. Be ready to discuss specific projects you've worked on, especially those involving servo valve design and operation. This will show your passion for aerospace engineering and your hands-on experience.

Problem-Solving Showcase

Prepare to demonstrate your analytical skills by discussing complex technical problems you've solved in the past. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers, making it clear how your engineering judgment led to successful outcomes.

Documentation is Key

Familiarise yourself with the types of documentation you'll be managing, like Engineering Change Notices and production reports. Bring examples of your previous work if possible, as this will highlight your attention to detail and organisational skills.

Communication Counts

Since you'll need to communicate technical information across various teams, practice explaining complex concepts in simple terms. Think about how you would explain a technical issue to someone without an engineering background, as this will demonstrate your ability to collaborate effectively.
