About the Role
As an integral part of the body restoration team, you will be responsible for full car shell restorations using donor vehicles. Working with precision and skill, you'll engage in MIG & TIG welding, cut out, and replace corrosion areas, and perform steel fabrication and sheet metal work (1-2mm thickness). Your role will involve panel forming, restoration, and the fitting and welding of roll cages to the highest standards.
The Ideal Person
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Fabricator Welder with extensive hands-on experience in automotive fabrication and welding. The ability to work to extremely tight tolerances, strong proficiency in steel fabrication and thin gauge sheet metal work (1-2mm), and expertise in MIG & TIG welding are essential. Candidates with a background in rally car or competition preparation, motorsport bench welding, and experience in restorations and donor vehicles will thrive in this environment. A keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver a high-quality finish are must-haves.
