Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 plus benefits

Location: Leamington Spa – On-Site

Role Summary

The CMM Programmer is a hands‑on permanent opportunity supporting the inspection of small batch transmission components to exacting quality standards. You will work within a small team environment, helping to deliver right‑first‑time inspection activity for precision components used primarily within the motorsport and aerospace sectors.

Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection activity using technical drawings, geometric tolerances and planning route cards.
• Use manual measuring equipment and table work techniques to verify components against drawing and planning requirements within routed timeframes.
• Support a small team in delivering high‑quality transmission components with a strong right‑first‑time philosophy.
• Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement activities across inspection and wider manufacturing operations.
• Provide flexibility across other manufacturing areas when required and support delivery deadlines through additional hours where needed.

Requirements of the CMM Programmer

• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment, along with knowledge of Mitutoyo software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances.
• Ability to interpret drawings and route cards accurately and inspect components to the highest quality standards.
• Experience using manual measuring equipment and carrying out detailed table work inspection.
• Proactive and innovative approach to team support, problem solving and continuous improvement.
