CMM Inspector (Weekday Nights)
Location: Leamington Spa – Onsite
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £19.94 per hour PAYE to be uplifted to be paid via UMBRELLA PAYE payroll model.
Hours: 37 per week
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Role Summary
The CMM Inspector will play a vital part in:
- Inspect high-precision transmission components to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, route cards, and geometric tolerances.
- Use manual measuring equipment and inspection techniques to validate component specifications.
- Program and operate CMM equipment.
- Identify and resolve non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities within the team.
- Collaborate with colleagues across manufacturing to meet project delivery deadlines.
- Remain flexible in supporting other production areas and working additional hours when required.
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Proven experience in precision component inspection (motorsport/aerospace sector experience preferred).
- Skilled in manual measurement and inspection methods.
- CMM programming and operation experience (Mitutoyo advantageous).
- Highly detail-oriented, methodical, and quality focused.
- Proactive, innovative, and able to contribute effectively to team problem-solving.
- Adaptable and flexible to meet shifting priorities and deadlines.

Please note, this role is deemed inside of IR35. The Umbrella Pay Rate offered is inclusive of the Assignment pay rate, holiday pay and Apex Recruitments contribution towards Employer Costs.
