The predicted salary is between 30000 - 50000 Β£ per year.

Apex Recruit is looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to work with a well-established care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities across Essex. You will work alongside care teams to improve outcomes, promote person-centred support and help reduce restrictive practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the development and review of Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Assist with Functional Behaviour Assessments.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and practical support to care teams.
  • Deliver training and encourage reflective practice.
  • Work closely with families, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Help services improve quality-of-life outcomes for the people they support.
  • Ensure practice follows current legislation, guidance and organisational procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised Positive Behaviour Support qualification.
  • At least one year of experience in a PBS Practitioner, PBS Coach or similar role.
  • Experience delivering training or coaching to staff teams.
  • Strong written, verbal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel between services.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
