Role Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a supported or care setting
- Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care where required
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Supporting individuals with emotional, behavioural, or additional needs
- Encouraging engagement in activities and routines
- Following care plans and risk assessments
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns
- Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a support worker, care, or similar role (professional experience preferred)
- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- A good understanding of safeguarding and duty of care
- A caring, patient, and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts
Desirable Experience & Training:
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults or children
- Training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Manual Handling, or Medication Administration
- Experience with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, or challenging behaviour
