Private Client Legal Director/Knowlegde Lawyer 8 years plus PQE

Are you an experienced Private Client lawyer looking for something differrent if so this maybe for you.
This is a newly created role working for one of the one of the oldest and historic family-linked businesses that operates very differently from a traditional law firm.
The legal team is an integral part of the wider organisation, creating a genuinely collaborative environment where quality of advice and client outcomes take priority over fee targets and business development expectations.
Many senior Private Client opportunities come with increasing pressure around billing, networking and business generation. This role offers something genuinely unique.
You will continue to undertake some high-quality Private Client work for an established client base, but the main focus will be on knowledge managment- driving the department’s precedents forward and making sure other lawyers in the team are up todate on the latest developments.
There is:
- No requirement for business development
- No expectation to build a following or generate work
- Significantly lower billing pressures than a traditional private practice role
- A genuine 9-5 working culture, with no expectation to work longer hours

Working closely alongside the Head of Department, you will play a key role within the Private Client team.
Whilst maintaining a reduced caseload of high-quality matters, you will also help shape the future direction of the department through:
- Developing and refining precedents and technical resources
- Supporting the continued development of team members
- Ensuring legal and regulatory updates are embedded across the team
- Providing technical guidance on complex matters
- Helping drive best practice and consistency of service delivery
- Acting as a senior sounding board for colleagues
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Private Client specialist who enjoys mentoring and technical excellence but wants to step away from the commercial pressures often associated with traditional LLP's
