Our client is currently seeking a Site Manager for a façade remediation project on a four-storey residential block in South East London. Under the Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS), works involve the removal of combustible materials from the external envelope and installation of non-combustible components, including firestopping at all key junctions. Project value £750,000.
The Role:
- The works involve the removal and replacement of external cladding systems and associated fire safety upgrades.
- You will be managing a team of experienced sub-contractors, responsible for the day-to-day management of the project while ensuring works are delivered safely on programme and to a high standard.
- Day-to-Day running of the project as No1 on site.
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor site activities.
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed on site.
- Maintain site records including permits, RAMS and compliance documents.
- Carry out photographic progress reporting and general site documentation.
- Managing material deliveries and site logistics.
- Maintain clear communication with Head Office, your Contracts Manager and Sub-contractors.
Ideal requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on construction projects ideally gained with a medium or high-rise developer or main contractor.
- Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site documentation.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- SMSTS (5 Day) or SSSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work.
