Job Description

High-end new build residential developer has an opportunity for an office based Document Controller / Technical Administrator at their new regional office near Southampton. As Document Controller / Technical Administrator you will be responsible for working alongside the technical team and support the technical department.\\n\\nResponsibilities include:\\n\\n * To assist with the printing and distribution of documents/drawings.\\n\\n * Assist in the preparation of technical release packs including legal handover packs to external solicitors.\\n\\n * Coordinate consultant's appointment documentation & collateral warranties.\\n\\n * Organise street names and numbering with the Local Planning Authority.\\n\\n * Assist with the preparation of Health and Safety files and housing association tenant manuals.\\n\\n * Assist with existing & proposed Utilities enquires.\\n\\n * Input technical team project data onto the Coins system.\\n\\n * Assist with completion of the 'Technical Master Database' schedules for each development.\\n\\n * File all correspondence & Drawings in site files keeping files up to date within a framework system.\\n\\n * Administration of document hosting systems (such as Viewpoint/Project Vault/Asite) including quality control checking.\\n\\n * Apply for Building Control & Warranty and register with Robust Details.\\n\\n * Maintain and update user register on the Building Control portals such as NHBC portal.\\n\\n * Assist with submitting information to authorities such as LA Planning and Building Control.\\n\\n * Liaise with Project & Site Managers regarding outstanding customer defects.\\n\\n * Logging of defects onto Keys system.\\n\\n * Work with the customer care team to ensure the smooth and effective updating of the IT systems supporting our care service to customers.\\n\\n * Assist with submitting weekly timesheets, administering sickness and holiday absence and report to the payroll department as required.\\n\\n * General admin support including answering the telephone, copying and distributing documents, and producing letters and documents using Microsoft Office packages.\\n\\n * Assist in the preparation of pre-start meetings and handover documentation required.\\n\\n * Assist in the preparation of technical release packs including legal handover packs to external solicitors.\\n\\n * Coordinate Consultant's appointment documentation & collateral warranties.\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\nPrevious experience working for a residential developer / contractor in the housing building sector
