About the Role
At Apex, leadership is developed — not handed out. The Graduate Management Trainee role is designed for an ambitious graduate who wants hands-on experience in sales, campaign delivery, and team leadership, with a clear pathway into management. Rather than being placed straight into a back-office role, you’ll begin by learning the foundations of the business: public engagement, campaign performance, and customer interaction. From there, you’ll progress into team coordination, performance support, and leadership responsibilities as you develop. This is a fast-paced, people-focused opportunity suited to graduates who are competitive, proactive, and motivated by growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your first phase will focus on understanding how campaigns are delivered and how results are generated. You’ll work in retail and event-style environments, engaging directly with members of the public and learning how to confidently communicate campaign messages. This stage builds the communication, resilience, and performance mindset required for leadership. On a typical day, you’ll:
- Engage people in natural, one-to-one conversations
- Explain campaign objectives and the impact behind them
- Guide interested individuals through clear next steps
- Ensure all commitments and contribution details are explained transparently
- Accurately record information using digital systems
As you progress, your responsibilities will expand to include:
- Supporting new team members during onboarding
- Assisting with daily briefings and performance discussions
- Learning how to track campaign results and identify improvement areas
- Contributing to team motivation and target-setting
The goal is to move you from campaign delivery into leadership, with structured support at each stage.
