At Apex, great conversations sit at the centre of everything we do — and if you’ve worked in bars, restaurants, cafés, or events, you already know how powerful good customer interaction can be. This role is ideal for people from hospitality backgrounds who enjoy fast-paced environments, talking to new people every day, and delivering positive experiences. You’ll support live campaigns in public-facing settings, using the same skills you’ve built in hospitality — communication, adaptability, and confidence — in a role with clearer progression and consistent earnings. No sales experience is required. Full training is provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day will be spent in lively, customer-focused environments where your ability to read people and keep conversations flowing really matters. Much like working a busy shift behind the bar or on the floor, you’ll engage people as they move through the space — starting friendly conversations, answering questions, and creating a welcoming experience. The difference here is that instead of serving drinks or food, you’ll be representing a live campaign and helping people understand the purpose behind it. You’ll talk with individuals about what the campaign supports and the impact it creates, using clear, relatable language. When someone shows interest, you’ll take the time to explain how they can get involved and what support looks like in practical terms. Transparency is key. You’ll guide people through contribution options, ongoing commitments, and supporter rights carefully and professionally, making sure they feel informed and comfortable at every step. You’ll also be responsible for accurately capturing details using digital systems, just as you would handle orders or payments in hospitality — attention to detail matters. You’ll work closely with a supportive team, attending briefings, sharing feedback from conversations, and adapting your approach as campaigns evolve. Some days may involve helping with setup, moving between locations, or supporting teammates during busy periods. The role blends customer service, communication, and outcome-focused engagement, making it a strong fit for anyone used to delivering great service in high-energy environments.
Training & Development
You’ll receive structured onboarding, hands-on coaching, and continuous support. Many people who start in this role progress into senior customer engagement positions, team leadership, or campaign management as they develop.
