Overview

Due to growth we are currently for a Groundworker on behalf of one of the UK's fastest-growing renewable energy and electrical infrastructure companies.

Established over 10 years, they specialise in Solar PV, solar battery storage, and EV charging systems, managing every stage from initial design and planning through to installation and maintenance.

They do a lot of work for automotive dealerships including BMW, Volvo and Peugeot.

They also do work on retail parks, farms, manufacturers, charging forecourts, hotels and within the educational sector.

As the Groundworker you will join our civils and infrastructure team delivering utility and electrical infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Groundworkers to support the delivery of nationwide infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, paying £41,600 per annum.

Perks include company overtime, pension, career progression into supervisory roles, industry-leading training and 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

You will also receive a day off on your birthday.

The company are based in Hull but the majority of the work is working away.

  • Concrete bases and foundations.
  • Site preparation.
  • Traffic management support.
  • General civils activities.

Skills & Attributes

  • Previous construction or civils experience.
  • CSCS card.
  • Good attitude and work ethic.
  • Team player mentality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to travel.
  • Full UK driving licence.
