We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Change Manager to support Engineering Change Management (ECM) efforts for large-scale data centre design and construction projects. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience managing changes to complex, mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring designs and construction deliverables stay on track, compliant, and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication and Governance
- Assist in drafting and reviewing change management documentation specific to data centre design and construction, such as Engineering Bulletins and Technical Advisories.
- Maintain a central repository for all change management records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Support governance by ensuring all communications comply with established engineering and construction standards.
- Support and Implementation
- Track the implementation of engineering and design changes across multiple construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, design leads, and construction teams to gather updates and identify potential roadblocks.
- Facilitate cross-functional design and construction reviews, documenting outcomes and action items.
- Tracking and Compliance
- Monitor adherence to approved design and construction changes at all sites.
- Collect and analyse key project metrics, including schedule adherence, cost impact, and implementation progress.
- Identify deviations from approved changes and support root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organisational, time-management, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in technical construction contexts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and construction teams.
- Exposure to data centre design, construction, or other mission-critical facilities such as hospitals, laboratories, manufacturing, or power infrastructure.
- Experience tracking technical changes or coordinating complex project deliverables.
