JOB TITLE: Support Worker – Learning Disability/Mental Health

LOCATION: Woodbank House

Woodbank House is a supported living accommodation providing care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. It is situated centrally within Omagh. Woodbank House offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and participate in day-to-day decision making.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • 6 months experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues
  • Currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months
  • Previous experience in administrative duties
  • Willing to work towards relevant qualification

*Formal Care/Support includes caring at home (receiving Carers\’ Allowance) or voluntary work in formal settings.

This is a regulated post and will require a satisfactory Access NI check.
