Railway Court is a supported living accommodation providing support and care for up to 23 tenants with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It is situated centrally within Omagh. Railway Court offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and participate in daily decision-making.
Essential Criteria
- QCF/NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Six months experience in a formal care/support role and experience working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues
- Current registration with NISCC or commitment to achieve registration within 6 months if new to the sector
- Previous experience in administrative duties
- Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications
Formal Care/Support includes caring at home (receiving Carers' Allowance) or voluntary work in a formal setting.
