1x 37hrs Permanent Contract at Clondermott PLUS Reserve List for Permanent/Temporary, Full-Time/Part-Time contracts in our Mental Health/Learning Disability Schemes within the Derry-Londonderry Area. Clondermott House is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. It is situated in the Waterside area of Derry-Londonderry. Clondermott House provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day-to-day decision making.

Essential Criteria

  • QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • 6 months experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues
  • Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months
  • Previous experience in administrative duties
  • Or 2 years' experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/Mental Health issues
  • Must be willing to work towards the completion of relevant qualification

Formal Care/Support may include caring at home, where the carer is in receipt of Carers' Allowance. Formal Care/Support may also include voluntary work in a formal setting. All successful applicants will also be required to provide documentary evidence of their right to work in the UK. Please note we do not hold a license to sponsor Working Visas.
