Job Title: Support Worker – Learning Disability

Location: Beechway House, Londonderry

Positions Available: Various posts, including Permanent/Temporary, Part-Time/Full-Time for Beechway House

Beechway House is supported living accommodation providing care and support for 16 adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities, situated in the Waterside area of Londonderry. It offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, helping tenants develop skills and participate in daily decision-making.

Essential Criteria

• QCF/NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with 6 months experience in a care/support role, and experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
• Must be registered with NISCC or achieve registration within 6 months if new to the sector.
• Alternatively, 1 year experience in a care/support role with similar experience and registration requirements.
• Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications.
• Informal care/support experience includes caring at home or voluntary work.

This is a regulated post, subject to a satisfactory Access NI check. All applicants must provide proof of right to work in the UK. Note: Apex does not sponsor work visas.
