The manager is required to manage the housing with care service to ensure staff support tenants to attain personal independence, choice and responsibility in their own home. To ensure that the provision of support and care is appropriate to the social, emotional and physical needs of each tenant.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for on-going daily management of the service and to ensure that this is carried out in an effective and efficient manner.
- Create a caring and supportive environment for tenants whilst encouraging maximum independence.
- Ensure that a high standard of care is maintained at all times which reflects the social, emotional and physical needs of each tenant.
- Assess the suitability of all prospective tenants including liaison with the multi-disciplinary team and ensure all relevant information is provided within appropriate time scales.
Skills and Qualifications
- First level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC register or Professional Social Work qualification and registered with NISCC.
- Minimum of four years work experience in any health or social care setting working with vulnerable adults.
- Two years previous management experience including staff management, financial management, and administration.
- OR Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services and registered or willing to register with NISCC.
- Minimum of five years practice experience in any health and social care setting working with vulnerable adults.
- Two years previous management experience including staff management, financial management, and administration.
