The Common Ground project is a European Funded project under PEACEPLUS that focuses on promoting peace and reconciliation across/between NI/ROI communities including new and minority communities.

Responsibilities

  • To provide a quality service in accordance with the Associations policies and procedures and in line with the principles of continuous improvement.
  • Initiating and delivering activities which will improve inter-community relationships and enhance understanding of different cultures and backgrounds.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree / Third level qualification and two years’ demonstrable relevant experience as a practitioner in a Community or Voluntary sector setting or Housing / Tenant Engagement Setting
  • Educated to ‘A’ Level standard (or equivalent) with three years’ demonstrable relevant experience as a practitioner in a Community Relations / Community Development / Housing role
  • Or Exceptionally, those candidates who do not hold the above formal qualifications but have five years’ demonstrable relevant experience as a practitioner in a Community or Voluntary sector setting or Housing / Tenant Engagement Setting role
