To work with other members of staff to meet the care needs of tenants with alcohol and drug misuse issues in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

Responsibilities

  • To encourage tenants to make the scheme into a mutually supportive environment for themselves and their visitors.
  • Care of tenants with alcohol and drug misuse issues.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of a relevant qualification equivalent to QCF level 2, and at least one year’s experience working with homeless individuals and/or individuals who suffer addiction problems in a community or residential setting.
  • Must be currently registered with NISCC or must achieve registration within 6 months.
  • Or at least two years’ experience working with homeless individuals and/or individuals who suffer addiction problems in a community or residential setting.
