Ballyoan House is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. Ballyoan House provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day-to-day decision making.
Essential Criteria
- QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
- 6 months experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues, or
- 2 years' experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/Mental Health issues.
Formal Care/Support may include caring at home, where the carer is in receipt of Carers' Allowance. Formal Care/Support may also include voluntary work in a formal setting.
Please note Apex do not hold a license to sponsor Working Visas. At this time we particularly welcome applications from members of the Protestant Community, due to underrepresentation in parts of our workforce.
