Belmont Cottages is a residential accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. It is situated in the cityside of Derry-Londonderry. Belmont Cottages provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day-to-day decision making.
Essential Criteria
- QCF/NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a support role working with adults with learning difficulties AND challenging behaviour in a community/residential setting. Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months. Have previous administration experience.
- OR A minimum of 2 year's experience in a support role working with adults with learning difficulties AND challenging behaviour in a community/residential setting. Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months. Have previous administration experience.
- The above experience must include supervisory responsibility
- Above experience must demonstrate the use of IT and the provision of administrative support to include regulatory, scheme and resident reports.
This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Access NI check.
