The role involves working closely with the Operations Manager, responsible for the Food & Beverage service offering which covers our Pineapple Restaurant, Cave Bar, Titan Sky Bar, Private Dining areas including the Dining Domes, Clubhouse and Room Service. You will pride yourself on creating an exceptional experience for our customers, ensuring that the highest level of customer care is delivered by the team.
Youâll also:
- Lead by example with the Restaurant and Bar Managers, supporting them to deliver in their roles.
- Be responsible and targeted on revenue, contribution, guest satisfaction, employee engagement and H&S across all F&B areas.
- Coach, mentor and develop the F&B team to provide exceptional service at all times, creating a culture of excellence that encourages personal development and progression.
- Optimise opportunities to exceed budgeted targets and maximise sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.
- Be responsible for F&B budget delivery across all areas, ensuring there is a culture of delivery within the bar and restaurant management teams, looking after wage controls, GP and ancillary costs.
- Liaise with support services to assist the Restaurant Manager and Bar Manager in creating an environment of continual improvement through training and development.
- Manage the teams effectively regarding recruitment, staff training, rotas and staff development.
- Through close working with HODs and support services, develop, implement, refine, and deliver a commercial F&B plan designed to optimise revenue across all areas.
About you: As a Food & Beverage Manager, youâll have a real passion for food and drink, and excellent attention to detail to provide amazing service. Youâll also:
- Be competent in using Microsoft Outlook email & calendar, Excel, Word etc.
- Have experience at management level across all Food and Beverage outlets including formal restaurant service, bar service, clubhouse and private dining service.
- Be a clear thinker, with the ability to analyse and resolve problems.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail, creativity and innovation with the vision to capitalise on sales opportunities.
- Have knowledge of current Health & Safety Legislation.
- Be financially astute, with experience of utilising rota systems and EPOS systems.
- Possess a âcan doâ attitude as this is a âvery hands-onâ role.
