Operations Manager for the Apex Temple Court Hotel in London. This full‑time, permanent role includes a 40‑hour week with a 5 on 2 off shift pattern. The position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Apex Brand Values, guest experience, brand standards, cost controls, and hotel profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full visibility during key operational periods to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain team focus on the customer and drive individualized service.
  • Own the in‑stay and post‑stay customer service lifecycle, review improvements and address feedback.
  • Maintain the highest cleanliness standards across all hotel areas.
  • Collaborate with HODs and Sales to grow business and identify new opportunities.
  • Work with HODs to upskill and multi‑skill teams according to business needs.
  • Analyse daily/weekly payroll costs, manage staffing deployments and correct overspend.
  • Handle effective holiday, sickness, and absence management.
  • Deliver and initiate regular team recognition and wellness initiatives.
  • Develop community/social calendar for cluster teams.
  • Ensure F&B strategies, menu implementation, and promotions are delivered on time; support revenue targets.
  • Promote a “Sales Team mentality” across all departments.
  • Implement cost‑saving strategies.
  • Ensure smooth operations across all departments.
  • Adhere to legislative standards including Health & Safety, Fire & Food Safety, IT & Accounting Compliance, HR procedures.
  • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance division to deliver required training within timeframes.
  • Implement the sustainability agenda and coordinate initiatives across the cluster.
