The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and governance of strategic change initiatives across Apex Hotels. This role will ensure that all major projects including technology rollouts, acquisition integrations, and operational transformation are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering Apex Hotels transformation agenda, including digital enablement and operational excellence across a growing and diverse property portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of strategic projects across the Group, ensuring alignment with Apex Hotels growth objectives.
- Establish and maintain a project management framework, including lifecycle stages, governance, tools, templates, and reporting standards.
- Create and manage a group-wide project portfolio, prioritising initiatives and managing interdependencies, risks, and resource planning.
- Chair regular project reviews and steering groups, providing updates and assurance to the Leadership Team.
- Work closely with the cross-divisional Technology Transformation Team, operational stakeholders and external partners to coordinate cross-functional delivery.
- Support project budget management, business case development, and lead on post-implementation cost analysis.
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience leading cross-functional strategic projects within multi-site, service-led organisations.
- Strong background in project and programme management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, hybrid).
- Demonstrated ability to implement and embed project governance frameworks, portfolio reviews, and project management functions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly at senior leadership level.
- Experience in hospitality, leisure, or multi-site consumer environments undergoing digital and brand transformation.
